“Hideaway in Javea” on Spain’s Northern Costa Blanca Coast, is a relaxed clothing optional, luxury B&B, offering just 2 private bedrooms.
Housed in a stunning Traditional Spanish Villa on the exclusive urbanization of La Lluca, by Javea Golf Club. Hideaway in Javea, offers couples the chance to enjoy one of Spain’s most wonderful regions, while enjoying life the way nature intended.
Your hosts – Joanne and Ken, love to open their doors to likeminded couples from all over Europe, UK, France, Scandinavia, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, who both enjoy the finer things in life, and the freedom to sunbath and swim as they choose.
Clothing Optional means just that – it is totally your choice whether to wear clothes, or to be naked. There is absolutely no pressure to engage in the naturist lifestyle, if you prefer not to. This is perfect for couples where one is comfortable with being naked in the company of others, while their partner prefers to cover themselves. It is also perfect for couples thinking of taking the step into naturism, but are a little unsure – as well, of course for those experienced and comfortable with a naturist life, or who simply want a regular B&B.
Hideaway in Javea, is a true clothing optional.

Both Joanne & Ken have a very simple philosophy, Why limit Happy to an Hour? –
At Hideaway in Javea, there is something to be happy about 24 hours a day, but what better way to meet and engage with your hosts, than over drinks on the pool terrace every evening between the hours of 18:00 and 19:00 (6:00pm to 7:00pm).
Joanne and Ken invite you to join them for complimentary drinks of your choice. Choose from:
• Icy Cold beer
• Red, white, rose or sparkling wine
• Variety of Spirits and mixes
• Soft drinks.
• Or if you are feeling adventurous, how about trying Joanne’s “very special”, if somewhat dangerous, homemade Sangria – made with Spanish Red Wine, Brandy, Triple Sec, Seasonal Fresh Fruits, Orange Juice, Cava. Enjoy ……….. but take care!!
PLUS – always on hand during the day
During the sunbathing hours, you will always have access to complimentary chilled cucumber water, and ice lollies.
Javea, and the immediate area, is often called “The Jewel in the Spanish Crown”. If Italy has the Italian Riviera, and France the Cote d’Azur, then Spain has the Marina Alta region of the Northern Costa Blanca Coast, this region stretches from the port of Denia in the North to Altea in the south, with the jewels of Javea, Moraira and Calpe in between.
How do you best describe the area? How about “Elegant Sophistication” – do you remember how things were 30, 40 or even 50 years ago. People dressing smartly on an evening as they promenaded themselves. Families dining together, a time when manners were key and there was a certain understood etiquette that should be followed.
Welcome to Javea and the Northern Costa Blanca Coast. This area is where the wealthy Spanish families from Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia have their summer homes. There’s not a high rise in sight, no package tour companies use the area. Instead villas and apartments are the main accommodation.
This is the best of the best in Spain, wonderful coastline, with blue flag white sandy beaches, rocky coves and scenery that is amongst the best coastal scenery anywhere in the world. Restaurants and bars to die for.
Vineyards, orange/olive groves, and pine trees dominate the region. Some of the scenery is more akin to what you imagine in southern California than mainland Spain.
There are three distinct areas that make up Javea.
• The Historic “Old Town” – a 10 minute drive
• The Port Area – a 15 minute drive
• El Arenal beach – a 10 minute drive
Each area has its own charm.
• The Old Town is full of Tapas bars, traditional Spanish bars and eateries,
• The Port Area is typically Spanish with a focus on seafood and the more traditional Spanish dishes like paella.
• El Arenal is the most cosmopolitan area, with a huge mix of diverse menus from all around the world. European, Asian, Indian, American – here you will literally find every single type of restaurant there is.
With well over 200 restaurants and bars, from Michelin 5 Star to back street gems, you will be well served in Javea.
Definitely Ken’s favourite place, a quaint old fishing village that today host wonderful restaurants, tapas bars and shops, a stunning white sandy beach with glorious views over the Ifach, or Rock of Calpe.
Enjoy getting lost in the labyrinth of narrow streets.
Moraira is just a 15 minute drive from Hideaway in Javea.
Getting Here – You have A Choice of Airports
The resort of Javea is almost midway between 2 airports, being almost 1.15hr from both Valencia and Alicante. Alicante is by far the bigger and busier of the two, but flights into Valencia can be better value.
A car is essential at Hideaway in Javea, and is by a country mile the best way to get from the airport to Javea, which by the way is mainly by motorway.
Detailed directions will be sent prior to your arrival.
Is between the hours of 15:00 (3:00pm) and 21:00 (9:00pm), should your arrival be after 21:00 (9:00pm), then you would need to make arrangements for your first night and check in with us the following day.
This is important information when booking your flight.
